Used to do a lot of business with them…

Used to do a lot of business with them with no issues. Placed a order today that was over $800. They charged my card and the charge was approved and went through however customer service also tried getting me to send cash or check to a PO Box in California. Obviously this website has become a scam. I am now disputing the charge with my bank and filing a complaint with the attorney general.

Stay Clear Horrible quality

Your typical middle man website... They don't print anything - everything is out sourced to different printers and every single piece is different. I ordered 4 prints, everyone of them are on a different paper stock & every single one had creases, dings, etc! Not to mention it's. Been 6 weeks & I'm still waiting on a print. Don't waste you time.

Highly Disappointing

Highly disappointed in my interactions with this company. I ordered 2 prints, custom mat, frame, etc.. and spent $700. The first print arrived fine, the 2nd print arrived 2 weeks later, the wrong size, the wrong mat. When I reached out to customer service they were AWFUL to deal with. You are required to jump thru hoops to explain, show, etc... how they screwed up. I provided order numbers, pictures, etc... and still they were not satisfied and required me to locate my order acknowledgement email, etc... It was a terrible customer service experience. Never never never again will I order from art.com. Terrible customer service.

Delivery Deception

We shopped a print on canvas as a gift for our mother. Several sites had the one we wanted for less money but none would deliver in time for Mother's day. Art.com was a few bucks more but had free shipping and promised delivery 3 days before Mother's day. They lied. After confirming the order and estimating delivery by May 6 (same as their listing) we began tracking the order. It didn't ship so I contacted Customer Service and explained my need for delivery before May 9th. Within a few hours I received an email saying that it shipped but wouldn't be there until the 8th. I continued to track it and the date slipped to the 9th. Today it says the 10th. I don't know when it will arrive but whenever it does, it will be too late. They promise delivery to get the order and then they don't care anymore.

Expedited Delivery BAIT AND SWITCH BULL SHAT

Ordered a framed item... expected a few days to process, no issue with that. Paid for expedited shipping. 3-4 days. Fine print says 3-4 business days... my package has traveled 787 miles in 4 days. At 192 miles per day, i am generously including non business days, my package will probably be delivered in 11 more days. The tracking says in 4 more days, May 12... but I think that means another 12 days in the month of May. If I exclude non business days and give an extra day at the destination hub, My package should be delivered to the gift recipient no sooner than May 26. Expedited Bull Shat.

Disappointed

After paying extra for expedited shipping I received notification that my order would be delayed due to quality issues. When it finally arrived the print was dirty and not centered in the frame. No answer from customer service. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this poorly run company.

Excellent Quality and Even More Impressive Customer Service

I have ordered quite a few items from Art.com with mixed results. Most of the items were fantastic (very vivid lush colors printed on thick quality paper), but some were shockingly amateurish (blurry and faded colors on cheap, thin and frustratingly warped paper.
It's interesting how many reviews I read that complained about the customer service. When I needed to return items, I was treated with professionalism, courtesy and respect. In fact, they said I wouldn't need to return the item at all while providing a full refund. This is why I keep going back; this type of Rockstar customer service makes me feel much more confident about ordering images I love.

Very pleased with Art.com

I have ordered 3 pieces from Art.com and am very pleased. They are beautifully framed. The website is easy to use. The orders were delivered before the estimated date and were very well packaged. I will continue to order from them.

Fraud

Fraud
This place claims they offfer a price match in no uncertain terms. I contacted them at Pricematch email address and they claim that they do not offer a price match. I forwarded them their own website which explains the price match guarantee and they said they do not offer a price match. Would be surprised if anyone got their art from this site. Seems fraudulent.

Gouged on price + denied frames = insult to injury

A few years ago, I purchased two map prints. Now I'd like the frames. I went back online to purchase the frames. Not only will Art.com not sell you the frames after you've purchased prints (you have to buy all at the same time), but I see that the prints now cost a fraction of what I paid for them years ago. I paid just under what prints + frames now cost, for prints only. I wrote to customer service stating my disappointment on both points. They still won't sell me just the frames. I was gouged and still don't have frames. Insult to injury. I can't shop here on principle.

4 pieces ordered

I get emails from art.com almost everyday pitching free shipping. When I finally order, the shipping is $200 - because free doesn't apply to Canada. Then why do you keep sending me email about offers I can't participate in!?!?!?!?!

2 of the pieces I ordered are a pair - meant to be hung together. They are backed differently, so they don't hang the same!

Won't ever be ordering from this site again.

False advertising

I gave them my email address and received an email from them that said I would get a $25.00 on my first order. I picked something out and when I placed it in the cart a message came up that my cart had to be $150.00 or more in order to get this discount. I scoured the email for that disclosure but it was no where to be found. I will not purchase anything from them. I feel like they are creating a bait and switch.

I'm not sure. I think I ordered posters from them years ago. I've known about them for a really long time and I have Picasso/Don Quixote and Matisse/Nude that I don't know where they came from. I'm sure they didn't come framed though, so this was the first time I ordered something framed from them. Might very well be the last.

They make their 800 number a bit hard to find and be aware that who you start speaking with has little to no escalation power to resolve more complex matters.

It was easy to contact customer service through "Live Chat". They were able to cancel my order because they could not fulfill the order.
